Our Accessibility Commitment

Accessibility isn't a feature we added. Accessibility is the reason we exist.

We are building everything here to be usable by as many people as possible globally, including people who are too often left out.

That means designing for ALL kinds of minds, bodies, senses, and ways of moving through the world.

What we're working toward

  • Cognitive access: clear language, one idea at a time, calm pages without clutter or overwhelm, easy-to-follow reading order
  • Visual access: readable text, strong color contrast, and design that doesn't rely on color alone
  • Screen reader access: clear structure, labels, and text alternatives where we can
  • Physical,  keyboard and switch access: everything reachable and usable without a mouse

An honest note

We designed Engaging AAC to meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility guidelines. We check the site regularly as we add or change content and features. Accessibility monitoring is ongoing.

If something on our site is difficult to access, understand, or use, please tell us. You can also share your ideas for making the site clearer or easier to use. Email us at accessibility@engagingaac.com.

Tell us what isn't working.

If you run into a barrier, or something is hard to use, please tell us through our contact form. Share what happened and what would help. We read every message, and we'll do what we can to fix it.

Thank you for helping us build something that works for more people.

Technical Details

To protect our users and maintain absolute transparency, we explicitly define the technical criteria under which this digital platform operates.

Standards We Meet

We target full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Our structural engineering, interactive logic, contrast thresholds, and linguistic frameworks are audited against these precise success criteria.

What This Website Works With

This platform is engineered to function optimally across major modern web browsers and assistive technology pairings. For the safest and most reliable interactive experience, we recommend using the following combinations:

  • Windows: NVDA or JAWS used in conjunction with Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
  • macOS & iOS: VoiceOver used in conjunction with Apple Safari or Google Chrome.
  • Android: TalkBack used in conjunction with Google Chrome.

Tools We Use

Our site relies entirely on standard web technologies to render content and manage interactive application states:

  • HTML5 (Semantic and ARIA structure)
  • CSS3 (Responsive layouts and visual formatting)
  • JavaScript (Dynamic interactive behaviors)

What We Don't Control

While every internal element of our Webflow architecture is built from the ground up to be fully accessible, this platform may interact with external integrations, embedded widgets, or third-party tracking scripts beyond our direct source-code control.

We continuously advocate for accessibility compliance from our partners. However, we cannot guarantee absolute conformance within sandboxed third-party digital properties or frames that do not permit native modification.
